Setting the Stage for Jungle Legends Evolution
Welcome, Jungle Legends players and fans! We’re thrilled you’re along for the ride as we take the game to the next level. As Jungle Legends continues its journey, our objective is not just incremental improvement but a holistic transformation of the gameplay experience. While some features are close to being implemented, others represent our longer-term ambitions. The aim here is to provide a transparent overview of both immediate additions and future updates, each contributing to our goal of a more engaging, personalised, and strategically rich game.
UPCOMING FEATURES
Weapon Sacrifice
Weapon Sacrifice introduces an innovative way for inventory management. Players have the option to dissolve lesser-used weapons to gain experience points for their preferred weapons and strengthen their primary arsenal. This aligns with our intent to make inventory interaction more strategic and decision-based.
The Mission System
The mission system is being developed to serve as an underlying structure that will support future game modes, events, and other features. This backend system is foundational and designed to enrich subsequent releases, including “Rumble Royale” and other features. Its primary role is to enable more complex and engaging events and game modes that will be introduced at a later date.
A comprehensive mission system is being introduced to offer both immediate engagement and long-term player investment. Missions are classified into “In-game” and “Meta,” each designed with a variety of objectives and rewards. Players will have the option to choose missions among several options according to their preferred characters, weapon classes, and game modes.
Inbox
The upcoming Inbox feature aims to centralise communication by funnelling all messages, updates, and rewards into one place. This not only streamlines the user experience but also allows for more personalised interactions between the Jungle Legends Team and the player.
Challenge Events
These events are designed to offer a higher stakes gameplay environment. Players will have limited lives to win matches and earn rewards. This adds an element of tension and excitement, maintaining player engagement by offering new missions regularly.
Talent Reset
Great news for strategists and experimenters alike: we’re introducing a Talent Reset feature. Players will soon be able to redistribute talent points, giving them the flexibility to adapt your gameplay style as often as they like. There’s a cost involved for each reset, but players regain all the talent points invested. More details on the cost will be disclosed shortly.
FUTURE FEATURES AND UPDATES
New Solo Game Mode: Rumble Royale
This is the upcoming feature we’re most excited about, and it’s great to finally be able to talk about it. Battle Royale is coming to Jungle Legends!
Our take on the genre, Rumble Royale features 10 players in a continuously shrinking map, where strategy and quick decision-making are key. Players collect stars to level up and gain stat bonuses. The map, a dynamic square area with a mix of open and covered zones, shrinks over time, causing damage to players caught outside the boundaries. Key spawn points for players, stars, barrels, and health pickups are strategically located to encourage engagement and movement towards the map centre. The mode emphasises quick decision-making and adaptability, with end-game battles primarily occurring in the central zone.
Rumble Royale is already in development and we can’t wait to get it into players’ hands and find out what everyone thinks about it.
NFT Marketplace
The forthcoming NFT Marketplace is designed to deepen player interaction within the game’s ecosystem. It will enable players to trade in-game assets and weapons using JL. The most important feature however will be giving the players the flexibility to list their NFTs for sale, without removing the ability to use these assets in gameplay. This adds a layer of financial and strategic depth, as it allows players to monetize or leverage their in-game possessions while still enjoying the full gameplay experience.
Public Borrowing Redesign
Player Profiles
The upcoming Player Profiles is a feature we’ve wanted to deliver for a while, to give players more insight into who they’re playing with or against. Players will be able to browse anyone’s profile to see their stats and achievements, which will help avid players improve their strategy. But it goes further than just dry stats, as player will be able to personalize their profile with avatars, banners, and icons, offering them a chance to put their unique stamp on the game. While you’ll be sizing up your opponents’ strengths and weaknesses, they’ll be marvelling at your slick avatar and achievements. So yes, it’s part strategy, part bragging rights.
Resource Rush Events
In Resource Rush Events, the primary emphasis is on the acquisition of in-game resources. Players participate in these limited-time events to garner various bonuses or resources that are not necessarily tied to the main objective of the original game mode. Essentially, these events serve as an additive layer to the existing gameplay, incentivizing players to engage more deeply or differently than they would under normal conditions.
Game Mode Modifiers
On the other hand, Game Mode Modifiers fundamentally alter the rule set of the existing game modes for a limited time. These modifiers introduce new variables that demand strategic adaptation from the players. The introduction of these variables means that players cannot merely rely on pre-existing strategies; they must adapt and evolve their approaches to succeed under the altered conditions.
Bullet Brawl Events
This represents a weapon-centric gameplay mode where players are assigned a specific class of weapon and must complete relevant missions for rewards.
New Characters and Weapons
We’re committed to continually evolving the Jungle Legends experience by adding both new characters and weapons. While we don’t want to spill all the beans just yet, let’s just say our next character is going to make quite a splash and the new weapon will definitely heat up the battleground.
